Angels In the Yard

(Written and composed by Richard Tausch)
Copyright © 2005 Nashville, TN
I met this amazing published songwriter, Richard Tausch, who wrote this
beautiful song and is in the process of seeking a major artist that would get this song to the top of the charts. I believe this song is bound for success. The song
is dedicated to John Walsh of America's Most Wanted and his wife Reve Walsh. Inspired by John Walsh, one of the "100 Americans Who Changed History.
Thank you Richard for allowing me to help you promote this awesome song.
This is Richards promo for his song

My name is Richard Tausch I am a published songwriter whose catalog represented by a Nashville publisher and I have a country song that has touched hearts, titled "Angels in the Yard." The song is dedicated to missing children and inspired by a true story. Enveloped in the song, a prayer from a mother to a late son, is a powerful message, but with a positive ending.  Julie Burton, a top Nashville demo singer did a flawless job on the vocals. The song is a tribute to John and Reve Walsh.  John
was name one of the "100 Americans who changed history"
and is the host of the TV Show America's Most Wanted.
John's son, Adam was the victim of a brutal murder and he turned that tragedy into
a passion to help missing children. While I recieved a great response from one of
his people who in their words thought the song was "beautifully written and extremly
heartfelt", there are always legal blocks with AMW because they cannot accept
any songs, poems, or anything else for fear that if they use something similar in
their program, they could be sued.  So if anyone can get this information to John
or Reve Walsh, that would be great.  I feel it would be in his best interests to know
about it, before it hits the airwaves by an eventual major artist.  John Walsh is
always looking for, and encourages anything that can bring awareness via the
media regarding missing children and especially to something that could be
close to his  heart like this.

Angels In the Yard

Only just the other day, I saw a little face on the news
I tried hard not to cry, but son it took me back to you
Just last night his mom and dad, called me up to say
That I had helped them somehow make it through
Even though you're high above,
You will always hold my heart
Every day I'll do my part and try to tell the world
"Angels In The Yard"
Dedicated to John and Reve Walsh
We must keep our eyes on those angels in the yard
Don't let them wander down a lonely boulevard
The street is not the place for a child to roam
Lost to the dark they may not find their way home
Please don't leave the children all alone
The phone rang early this morning, tears of joy on the line
And the family now can leave this all behind
When I heard his little voice, it reminded me of you
But he will live to see his dreams come true
One day I'll be where you are
And I won't have to let you go
Maybe the day will come,
When everyone will know.
We must keep our eyes on those angels in the yard
Don't let them wander down the lonely boulevard
The street is not the place for a child to roam
Lost to the dark they may not find their way home
Please don't leave the children all alone
Thank you Bruce for scripting this song for me

Please don't leave the children all alone
You all may remember this song from August 2004, when I began promoting it to top artists under the title "Don't Leave The Children All Alone". But I decided that since the song had sensitive lyrics and most male singers sing about beer and women, I would have a top female demo singer redo the vocals and then pitch this demo with my publisher to female artists. Female artists will be more open to a sweet song like this.  The song has a new title.  It is now called "Angels in the Yard" which sounds more eloquent.  I feels this song will be a better version and new life breathed into it!!
From Richard

Dec 2005... For the first time in my songwriting I finally have a top notch publisher who is going to present my song to big name. Cosmic Music Group in Nashville has had hits like Lonestar's #1 hit song "Mr. Mom", and "My Front Porch Looking In" and the owner himself has had hit songs with Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Diamond Rio and he and the co-owner heard "Angels in the Yard" and they are mailing me out a single song contract! To me this is everything. Little by little I keep chipping away at this thing and one day I am certain the world will hear a song that can not only touch hearts I wrote this song NOT for fame, and NOT for money, I wrote it because I feel
I was inspired by God to send this message and I could care less if I make one single penny off of it, because this song gives me a purpose and fills my heart.  It may still take a while but this music publisher clearly has the power to make things happen
and he isn't like some publishers who pitch a bunch of songs, they select just
a few and this song is one.
Jan 2006... Curb Records recording artist Jeff Carson created a full band demo for me to pitch. Jeff has had hits in the top 20 like "Real Life", "The Car", "Butterfly Kisses" and other hit songs including 6 country music videos.

I just sent the song to Warner Brothers in Nashville to hopefully be pitched to recording artist Blake Shelton. The manager for recording artist Sherrie Austin has told me he will personally play the song for her when she comes back from New York in July. Sherrie is doing a new album in August. Sherrie did the hit song titled "Streets of Heaven" about a dying child who is being prayed for to be kept alive.

I am going to have Julie Burton, the Nashville demo singer who did the simple guitar\vocal demo, go back into the studio and place her vocals on a FULL BAND demo of the song with Piano, Strings, Acoustic Guitar, and other instrumentation
to sound like Jeff Carson's version, that way I can pitch the female(Julie Burton) version to female artists and the male (Jeff Carson's) version to male artists.  Only Jeff's and Julie's full band demos will be pitched and I won't need anymore
demos because the song is finally perfected!
January 25, 2006 my publisher played "Angels In The Yard" for a record label exec
at RCA Nashville and she loved it. She is taking it to one other person at RCA,
Carol Ann Mobley and if she like the song, it will be presented to Martina McBride.
Last Sunday, I mailed off CD's to Sherrie Austin and Lee Ann Womack. The male
version will get to the representatives for country artist John Michael Montgomery
and Blake Shelton. Martina McBride was born to sing a song like this, as every
fabric of her being is laced with the meaning behind such a song, because all her
songs are about family. I have my fingers crossed.
Keep you updated.
