To all my friends who have helped to make

my difficult times a lot more bearable,

I wish to thank you and dedicate this page.

I know at sometimes I may be too gushy,

and sometimes I am a bit over mushy...

But I want you to always know how

very much I care and how thankful I am,

that you are part of my day.

The sun wouldn't shine as brightly,

the flowers wouldn't smell as sweet,

the days wouldn't be nearly as warm,

the nights would be oh so much longer

and my smile would not beam as often.

Difficult things can cause us to ask,

"Why did this happen?" But if we're

trusting in Christ we never need ask,

"How could He let this happen?"

God may never reveal all His reasons to us,

but He has revealed his character to us.

His character assures us that He never

makes mistakes, is never uncaring,

and that He never separates

Himself from our need.

The need you face is great, but the grace

that is yours, in Christ, is even greater.

May your heart and your faith stay fixed

on Him as you go through this difficulty.

and will not let go! He will be your rock.

Let the warm memories of an old friend,

a teacher, or a beloved family member

lift your spirit, and close the door on

negative thinking.

Such warm memories will renew your hope

and make your whole day more beautiful!

If we look closely, we're sure to find

that's it's those warm and loving hearts

that give us peace of mind.

The Right Words

I wanted to find some words on a card.

That would help you to get through when life gets so hard.

It seems you can't bear it - perhaps can't go on -

When deep in the heart there's no trace of a song.

Some words that would comfort -

when late in the night the trials return and -

you're too tired to fight.

Or the tears flow so often it seems you'll run dry.

And life gets so tough that you just want to die -

Or at least go and hide -

where you're safe from all pain.

Someplace you can rest 'till you find joy again.

What are the words you so need to hear -

That will help and will heal and remove all the fear -

That builds up inside 'till you think you'll explode -

What are the words that will lighten the load?

If only I knew the right words to say.

To encourage and Bless you or comfort some way.

I know not the words, but this I can do.
