I wish for you
peacefulness, calmness,
restfulness and patience
So many people spend their days in anger
and I don't believe they even realize it.
If we examine our lives fearlessly, we may find some
things that are in our power to change. Everyone of us
has experienced difficulty and loss in our lives. Since we
cannot change, or do not choose to change some things,
we'd do better just to accept them, instead of spinning our wheels in unproductive anger and frustration, against
ourselves and those we love. And when we summon
the courage to change the things we can,
our lives will be blessed.
For me the words of the Serenity Prayer have given me courage to carry on. My prayers and hopes is that serenity will help remind everyone of God's unconditional love...

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will.
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct your paths.

Proverbs 3, 5-6
Just for Today
I will try to live through this day only and not
tackle my problems all at once.

I will be happy. Assuming to be true what Abraham Lincoln
said, that "Most folks are as happy as they make up
their minds to be."

I will adjust myself to what is and not try to adjust everything else to my desires. I will take my "luck" as it comes and fit myself into it.

I will try to strengthen my mind. I will learn something useful; I will read something that requires effort,
thought and concentration.

I will exercise my soul: I will do somebody a good turn;
if anybody knows of it, it will not count. I will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt; they may be hurt,
but today I will not show it.

I will be agreeable. I will look as good as I can, talk low, act courteously, criticize not one bit, not find fault with anything and not try to improve or regulate
anybody except myself.
I will have a program. I may not follow it exactly, but I
will have it. I will save myself from two pests:
hurry & indecision.

I will be unafraid. I will enjoy that which is beautiful and will believe that as I give to the world,
so the world will give to me.
