The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient.
To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith.
Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith.
One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach -
waiting for a gift from the sea.

Through My Eyes

It seems that now, this journey
I must face again.
But I feel the Lord's comfort,
And my broken heart He'll mend.
Right now I don't understand,
And I find myself asking why.
But I know that God must have a plan,
And He'll dry each tear I cry.
Sometimes my life seems shattered,
And I feel like I can't go on.
But God has spoke so plain to me,
"My Child, You'll Never Walk Alone."
Some days I wake up,
And I don't want to face the day.
Oh' Lord I pray that He'll forgive me,
I don't mean to be this way.

I know the Lord can heal me,
You see, He's done it once before.
I just have to put all my Faith in him,
And He'll do it once more!

When you come to the edge of all the light you know
and are about to step into the darkness of the unknown.
Faith is knowing that one of two things will happen.
There will be solid ground to stand on
or you will be taught how to fly.

Like waves eternally lapping at the shore,
the universe is eternally knocking at your door...
with abundance and riches BEYOND imagine.
Have faith and believe!
Dear brothers and sisters,
whenever trouble comes your way,
let it be an opportunity for joy.
For when your faith is tested,
your endurance has a chance to grow.

So let it grow,
for when your endurance is
fully developed, you will be
strong in character and
ready for anything.
James 1: 2-4
Keep your faith in all beautiful things;
in the Sun when it is hidden,
in the Spring when it is gone
in the Seas when they are calm
in the beauty of a Winter sky
in the warm Wind on a cool day,
in the Birds singing at dawn
in the Rainshowers on a hot summer day.

Many of our fears are tissue-paper-thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them.
